P.I.Tchaikovsky
The prominent Russian composer P.I.Tchaikovsky
(1840-1893) had repeatedly visited the Tambov region since
1871 till 1876.
He rested here, deriving his strength for the creative work from the
beautiful Russian nature, worked on some compositions. That period of time
he spent in the Tambov province is a significant landmark in the creative
activity of Tchaikovsky.
